A Kiss from Rose | Useful vs Useless

Not every user is created equal. Some are sent, some are seasonal, and some… are just draining.
There are useful users—people who show up with purpose and pour in with presence. They’re God-sent. They lift you up without needing credit. They see your potential, support your mission, and don’t have to be asked twice. They may not always agree, but they’re consistent. Quiet champions who help carry the weight when you’re too tired to hold it all.
They’re like Aaron and Hur, holding up your arms in the middle of your battle. They’re not perfect, but they’re planted—and their loyalty shows in action, not just words.
Then there are the useless users—the ones who ghost when you need them most. Who pop up for your blessings but disappear for your burdens. They consume your light and dim your peace. They show up loud when it benefits them, but silent when it’s time to clap for you. They’ll drain your energy, copy your style, scroll your story, and still pretend like they don’t see you.
Some want your oil, but never your obedience.
They crave the glory, but avoid the grind.
You have to discern the difference. Because not everyone who walks with you is assigned to you. Some are distractions, sent to test your boundaries and teach you wisdom.
Let this be your reminder: every connection isn’t covenant.
Access is a privilege—not a right.
God will send people to build with you—but He’ll also reveal the ones who only came to take. And when He shows you? Believe Him the first time. Stop trying to force loyalty from people who barely give effort. Stop making room for those who can’t even clap when you win.
You’re not too much—they’re just not enough.
And that’s okay.
Protect your peace. Guard your oil.
Celebrate the useful. Release the useless.
And above all—trust God to keep sending the right ones at the right time.
Because everybody’s not worthy of the front row. And everybody ain’t called to your table.
