A Kiss from Rose| The Weight Is Too Heavy

One thing for sure and two for certain, everyone will have "weight" with their name on it. Sometimes the "weight" does not have your name on it, and it is delivered to your address. Just because the delivery person brought it to your address, you do not have to take it. You can and should forward it to God. Are you carrying the "weight" of something, and it is too heavy for you? Are your arms, hands, back, and mind full? Is anyone even noticing that you have the "weight" of the world on your shoulders? Do they even care? Have they offered to help you carry your "weight," or are they constantly dropping theirs off to you? Are they praying for your "weight" to be lifted? Are you continually going cheerfully to someone to pick up their "weight"? Now you are complaining that the "weight" is too heavy? Why are you not joining together in prayer for their "weight" to be lifted? You can barely carry your own "weight," don't pick up anyone else's "weight." God never said pick up the "weight" of others. He said:

"Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved." Psalm 55:22

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

"Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah" Psalm 62:8

"If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." John 15:7

"Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7

People have the "weight" of their life, health, and stability on them every day. It's too heavy. Give it to God.

People have the "weight" of their marriage on them every day. It's too heavy. Give it to God.

People have the "weight" of their family on them every day. It's too heavy. Give it to God.

People have the "weight" of their children on them every day. It's too heavy. Give it to God.

People have the "weight" of their job on them every day. It's too heavy. Give it to God.

People have the "weight" of their finances on them every day. It's too heavy. Give it to God.

People have the "weight" of being unemployed on them every day. It's too heavy. Give it to God.

People have the "weight" of being sick on them every day. It's too heavy. Give it to God.

People have the "weight" of being homeless on them every day. It's too heavy. Give it to God.

People have the "weight" of the enemy attacking them every day. It's too heavy. Give it to God.

People have the "weight" of being used, abused, and lied to on them every day. It's too heavy. Give it to God.

No one ever notices the " weight" you are carrying, just the load they bring to you. So let us pray about the "weight."

Father, thank You for being the one who carries my "weight." Thank You for lifting the "weight" of the world off of my shoulders. Thank You for freeing my mind of the "weight." Thank You for carrying the "weight" that others bring to me. Thank You for allowing me to be the one who directs them to You. Father, I cast all of my cares upon You. I can't worry about nor carry the weight of my family, children, friends, and marriage. I can't worry about nor carry the financial "weight." I can't worry about nor carry the "weight" and attacks of the enemy. I can't worry about nor carry the "weight" of feeling undervalued, underappreciated, or unloved. I can't worry about nor carry the "weight" of sickness. I can't worry about nor carry the "weight" of lies, deceit, abuse, or neglect. I can't worry about nor carry the "weight" of lack. Father, it is too heavy for me to carry; I give it all to You. I give it to YOU! In Jesus' name, Amen!
