A Kiss from Rose | Scriptures of Love

We often make it seem as if loving one another is so difficult.

Is it not where love resides if we are pouring from our heart, a place where God is constantly examining? It is easy to love when you are a positive and compassionate person. When you give the love that you expect, then it is not hard.

When God, who by the way is love, when we all say He dwells within us, how is it possible not to show love, compassion, empathy, kindness, care, and concern?

Just something to dwell on as we move about our day. As we take the time to love on others, make sure you do not forget to love yourself.

I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine;

he browses among the lilies.

-Song of Songs 6:3 ( NIV)

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

-John 15:1 (NIV)

Do everything in love.

-Corinthians 16:14 (NIV)

A friend loves at all times,

and a brother is born for a time of adversity.

-Proverbs 17:17 (NIV)

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

-1 John 4:7 (NIV)
