A Kiss from Rose | Respectfully Declining: You Can’t Pray for Me

alstonshropshire3

Does anyone remember you grandma telling you that you can't let everyone pray for you?

When a person hates you and we all know God is examining the heart. They should not pray for you. In me and my grandma's opinion.

Say we were to write a letter to someone declining a prayer. This is how it should go. Yes, we are about inspiration and positivity in Grandma's Corner, however , please do not forget authenticity and transparency.

Dear Hater,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to respectfully ask that you refrain from offering prayers on my behalf.

While I understand that prayer is often seen as a gesture of goodwill and positivity, I believe it's essential that the intentions behind those prayers align with genuine care and compassion.

It's become apparent to me that there may be animosity, hate, or resentment harbored towards me, and it's crucial for me to address this honestly.

I cannot, in good conscience, accept prayers from someone whose heart may be clouded by feelings of hate or ill will towards me.

I firmly believe that our relationship with God is deeply personal and reflective of our innermost sentiments. As such, it's important to remember that God examines the intentions of our hearts.

If there is hate within one's heart, it's imperative to address and resolve it before engaging in acts of prayer or supplication.

Furthermore, I believe that the more one genuinely loves and seeks to understand God, the more their heart will be inclined towards love and compassion for others, including myself. In nurturing a true connection with God, one will inevitably find themselves compelled to extend kindness and goodwill towards others.

In light of this, I respectfully ask that you take the time to reflect on the state of your heart and intentions before offering prayers. When love and understanding prevail, I would be grateful for any prayers offered on my behalf.

Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

Sincerely,

Child of the Most High
