Do you know who you are? Is it based on what you think you are or the actions and characteristics you show consistently? Do you believe you are kind, yet your actions do not consistently reflect that behavior? Are you a finesser, intentionally orchestrating plans to get your way?
If your actions and thoughts were to speak for you and you could not say a word, how would that pan out for you?
Jesus didn’t have to speak to who He was because His actions and character spoke loud enough for him.
For instance, he demonstrated unwavering love, compassion, humility, forgiveness, selflessness, patience, integrity, and empathy.
His love was evident in his teachings and interactions with others, showing compassion even to those society marginalized.
His humility was displayed through acts like washing his disciples' feet.
He forgave those who persecuted him, exemplifying mercy and grace.
He consistently put others before himself, showcasing selflessness in every aspect of his life.
His patience was shown in his interactions with his disciples and others, even in the face of adversity.
His integrity was unwavering, as he always stood for what was right and just.
His empathy allowed him to understand and connect with people from all walks of life.
Our deeds and works speak loudly to God, and He sees every characteristic and action we have presented. He knows who we are when we don’t.
We all think we're good, we all think we're perfect, but what actions and deeds reflect this?
It's crucial to align our actions with our beliefs and values, striving to reflect the love, compassion, humility, forgiveness, selflessness, patience, integrity, and empathy demonstrated by Jesus.
We know who Jesus is by His actions. Who are you?
