A glimmer can do wonders. A glimmer of light is still light. A glimmer of hope is still hope.
A small conversation can go a long way. One smile from a person can go a long way; it can last you throughout the day.
A person taking the time to instill nuggets of positivity will give you a glimmer of hope in a dark situation. Someone pouring into you financially will give you a glimmer of hope that things will get better. A person taking the time to wipe your tears away will provide you with a glimmer of hope that someone cares about what you are going through.
A person taking you away on a shopping spree will give you a glimmer of hope that the day can get better.
A person taking time out of their day to eat and watch a movie with you will give you a glimmer of hope that you matter, and they are willing to sit in whatever you are going through with you.
Think about this, what if God gave you a glimmer of His light? How about His power? What if God gave you a glimmer of His favor? What if He gave you just a little bit of time? Just a little bit of anything?
Do you know how much power comes with a glimmer of anything from God? If God gave me a little bit of anything, I have His attention. It means He has "me" at the forefront of His mind.
"Father, I thank God for those who gave me a glimmer of hope during my darkest days. Give them favor and bless them abundantly for doing so. In Jesus' name, amen." -Alston Shropshire
