Most of us will come across people who think we are strong or carry things so well. In a lot of cases, that may be true. Being strong or carrying the weight well does not mean you are not falling apart inside. It does not mean you want to carry the weight at all. You may want to say, here, take my shoes and wear them more often than not.
How many times have you heard you are strong or carry things well? When you are going through something like one of these things, have you wanted to make the statement, here, take my shoes and wear them?
How about when you are overloaded at work
Here, take my shoes and wear them
When the children have plucked your last nerve
Here, take my shoes and wear them
When you are exhausted from doctor's appointments
Here, take my shoes and wear them
When dialysis or chemotherapy treatments are just too much for you
to bear
Here, take my shoes and wear them
When the bills are piling up
Here, take my shoes and wear them
When your marriage has taken a toll on you
Here, take my shoes and wear them
When your mental capacity can not take another thing
Here, take my shoes and wear them
When your friends and family are in their good season, yet the devil is on all sides of you
Here, take my shoes and wear them
As a parent, you have done all that you can
Here, take my shoes and wear them.
When you are being strong or feeling weak, God is there through it all.
