A Kiss from Rose | Good "Ole Church Clap

Have you ever been in church, and the spirit gets to moving as the choir is singing and the music breaks for an old-fashioned church clap? All you hear are the words to the song, sung by everyone, clapping and foot-stomping? Well, I grew up on this. Sometimes you need the music to stop and everyone to sing together. Picture this, sitting in church on a hot summer Sunday, barely a breeze blowing through. You are sitting in church listening to the sounds of the beautiful choir. You are carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders; so is everyone else, unbeknown to you.

While the choir is singing and the people of God are foot-stomping and clapping, the music breaks; you know the double clap? These words fill the atmosphere, "search me, search me, Lord!" "Search me, Lord!" "Search me, Lord!" "Search me, Lord!" "Search me, Lord!" "Search me, Lord!" "Search me, Lord!" "Search me, Lord!" "Search me, Lord!" "Search me, Lord!"

Now the Holy Ghost has a hold on you and your situation! Now your words have changed from "Search me, Lord!" to "Help me, Lord!" "Help me, Lord!" "Help me, Lord!" "Help me, Lord!" "Help me, Lord!" "Help me, Lord!" "Help me, Lord!" Help me, help me, Lord!"

Think about what you are going through, what you need the Lord to do for you, and start double clapping (the old-fashioned way and foot-stomping). Now, don't be ashamed; visualize going to church with your grandmother and have church where you are.

Get the weight off. Start a good 'ole double clap!
